BALLET INSPIRED
(NINA RICCI fall 2012 ) I don't know why but somehow I was always drawn to ballet. This type of grace, simplicity and elegance of movement can only be seen in this dance… That is why ballet is an inexhaustible inspiration for all types of art. Just remember the sculptures of famous Edgar Degas. After I saw the "Black Swan" movie, ballet got a completely new dimension to me, especially when it comes to costumes. Before I knew ballet costumes took over the runways. This is how designers envisioned wearable ballet costumes. Ne znam zašto, ali balet me je nekako oduvijek privlačio. Ova vrsta gracioznosti, jednostavnosti i elegancije pokreta može se vidjeti samo u ovom plesu. Upravo to je razlog zašto je balet neiscrpna inspiracija za sve vrste umjetnosti. Dovoljno je sjetiti se skulptura poznatog Edgar Degasa. Nakon što sam pogledao film "Black Swan", balet je dobio potpuno novu dimenziju za mene, pogotovo kad je riječ o kostimima.
