Did You know that Bob Marley's last words were 'Money can't buy Life'



According to OMG facts Bob Marley's last concert was on

September 23rd in 1980. Marley was dying of cancer at the time and his tour after that date had to be cancelled.



Marley was treated in Josef Issels' Bavarian clinic. His treatment was an atypical treatment that simply involved avoiding eating certain foods and drinks.



The treatment was unsuccessful, so Marley

decided to fly to Jamaica to spend his last days at home. But Marley never made it to Jamaica,instead stopping in Florida in serious condition. He was admitted to the Cedars of Lebanon Hospital in Miami.



The melanoma had spread to his lungs and brain. His son, Ziggy, was with Marley at the hospital.

Marley's last words were to his son, telling him that 'money can't buy life.'



Marley died May 11th, 1981 at only 36 years of age.

He did accomplish a lot in his 36 years. He popularized reggae music, and rose out of a third world country to be a star!



Bob Marley's Exodus was named the best album of the 20th century by Time's Magazine. Despite his short life, he is globally recognisable and his music remains as a reminder of his life and talent.
