Christian Louboutin Recreates the Cinderella Glass Slippers for the Modern Day Lady

To celebrate the release of Disney’s legendary fairytale on Blu-ray this autumn, popular shoe designer Christian Louboutin has reworked the classic Cinderella glass slipper for the modern gal.

The slippers were on display yesterday in Paris.

 

The shoes will not be mass produced, but it’s reported that the limited-edition red-soled beauties with a 5-inch heel will be given away to 20 lucky winners.

The shoes will be used a promotional give-away during the release of Disney’s “Cinderella” on Blu-Ray this fall.

Details about the contest have not yet been released. There have been early indications that there will be just one winner of the limited edition shoe per country, which will make them an even more hotly sought-after collector’s item.
