Beste Gürel, son iki sezondur koleksiyonlarını IFW'de de gördüğümüz bir tasarımcı. Aynı zamanda stil ve renk danışmanlığı da yapıyor.

Beste Gürel is a Turkish designer whose collections are also presented at IFW for last two season. In the meantime she is a stylist and colour expert.

Stil sahibi olmak demek: Özgünlüğünü ortaya çıkarmak.

Owning a style means: Pointing out your uniqueness.

En sevdiğin renk: Yeşil.

Your favourite colour: Green.

En sevdiğin desen: Gökkuşağı tonlarındaki desenler.

Your favourite print: Prints in all colours of rainbow.

Çalışmayı en sevdiğin doku / malzeme: Bakır.

The material which you love most working with: Copper.

Kendini ait hissettiğin dönemler: 70ler.

Which decade do you belong: 70s.

Daimi ilham kaynakların ve sana en çok ilham veren dönemler: İzlediğim bir film, gördüğüm bir mimari yapı, doğada gezdiğim, dokunduğum, kokladığım her şey tasarımlarıma ilham kaynağı ve yaşanılmış dönemler; en çok 60, 70 ve 80ler.

Your permanent muses and the decades which give you most of your inspiration: A film I watch, a building I saw, everything I wander through, touch, smell in the nature is a muse for my designs and lived decades; mostly 60, 70 and 80s.

Your favourite piece in your closet: A mini dress.

Is there anything that you say I don't wear such a thing never ever: I never say never :)

İşine dair (aslında aynı zamanda hobin) en sevdiğin şey: Yeni bir şeyler yaratmak.

A thing that you love most about your job (and actually your hobby too): Creating new things.

Sorular kulağa klişe gelse de soru üretmeye çalışırken fark ettim ki aslında moda sektöründeki birine dair kısa bir şekilde bilgi edinmek istediğimizde bunlar kurtarıcı sorularmış.. Umuyorum ki sevdiniz :)
