DREFT FASHION WEEK ZAGREB AW12/13
Hi guys!
This weekend we attended the Dreft Fashion Week Zagreb and we had a great time. We had the oppurtunity to check out the collections of Croatian, but also foreign designers wich we really enjoyed.
This is our short review of the collections we liked the most.
We thank the entire DFWZ team for the invitation and a great organization!
Vjerujem da mnogi znate da je ovaj vikend bio Dreft Fashion Week Zagreb na kojem smo i mi prisustvovali i odlično se proveli. Imali smo priliku vidjeti kolekcije ne samo hrvatskih, već i stranih dizajnera što je poseban užitak gledati. Da ne duljimo, donosimo vam kratki report nama najboljih kolekcija.
Zahvaljujemo se cijelim DFWZ time na pozivu i odličnoj organizaciji!

BARBARA I GONGINI
Although this collection contained only a few colors, the wow effect has been achieved with variety of cuts and materials. A typical minimal Scandinavian style is complemented by an interesting make-up, hairstyles and excellent shoes. In particular, we were thrilled with leather, and the strategically tattered pieces.
Iako je ova kolekcija sadržavala tek nekoliko boja, tj. neboja, krojevima i različitim materijalima postignut je wow efekt. Tipičan skandinavski minimalistički stil upotpunjen je zanimljivim make-upom, frizurama i odličnim cipelama. Posebno su nas oduševili kožni, te oni strateški izderani komadi.

The title of the absolute favorites of this year's Dreft took the young designer from London, and showed why she is called the fashion goddess of flowers. Each piece of this collection was simply perfect, and even more perfect is how one look makes a whole although there are several pieces. Each floral print was special and absolutely breath taking whether it was on the shirts, pants, jackets, dress or skirt.
Titulu apsolutnog favorita ovogodišnjeg Drefta odnijela je mlada dizajnerica iz Londona i pokazala zašto ju nazivaju modnom božicom cvijeća. Svaki komad ove kolekcije bio je naprosto savršen, a još savršenije je kako jedan cijeli look čini cjelinu iako se radi o nekoliko komada. Svaki cvjetni print bio je poseban i apsolutno breath taking bilo da se radilo o košuljama, hlačama, jaknicama, haljini ili suknji.

MAARTEN VAN DER HORST
Besides working for the Top Shop this Dutch designer can boast with excellent independent collections. This one shown at DFWZ is yet another indication of his creativity and understanding of the female body. Men's fashion inspiration is further spiced with soft pastel colors and feminine pieces. Serious enough, and yet so sexy and playful.
Osim radom za Top Shop ovaj nizozemski dizajner može se pohvaliti i izvrsnim samostalnim kolekcijama. Ova prikazana na DFWZ-u još je jedan pokazatelj njegove kreativnosti i razumijevanja ženskog tijela. Inspiraciju muškom modom dodatno je začinio nježnim pastelnim bojama i ženstvenim komadima. Dovoljno ozbiljno, a opet tako sexy i zaigrano.
IVA KARACIC
Although it leaves an impression of very simple collection with safe color palette, namely only two, actually is very interesting. Pastel pink is not only feminine, but the biggest trend of the season, and it gets a whole new dimension in combination with the black pieces. Print which makes up most of the collection is a fantastic fit into the whole concept, also hair and make up.
Iako na prvu ostavlja dojam vrlo jednostavne kolekcije sa sigurnom paletom boja, točnije samo dvije, zapravo je vrlo zanimljiva. Pastelno roza nije samo ženstvena, već i najveći trend sezone, ali dobiva potpuno novu dimenziju u kombinaciji sa crnim komadima. Print koji čini veći dio kolekcije se fantastično uklopio u cijeli koncept, kao i make up i frizure.
