Blogundan da tanıdığınız Shoeshine, şu yazıdaki çağrımı duyunca kendi DIY kolyesinin fotoğraflarını & yapım yöntemini göndermiş. Çok beğendiğim kolyesinin yazısını seve seve paylaşıyorum :)

Shoeshine who you probably know from her blog, sent me her DIY necklace project after my call. I really loved her necklace, so I'm glad to sharing this project :)

Shoeshine bloglardan görerek bu tür DIY projelerine bulaştığını söylüyor. Blogunun konusuyla pek örtüşmediği için kolyesini paylaşmamış.. Kolyeyi yaparken esas örnek aldığı parça büyük ihtimalle bir çoğunuzun tanıdığı bu Zara kolyeymiş.

Shoeshine started DIY projects getting inspired & influenced from other blogs. She said that she didn't shared her project on her blog because it wasn't related to her theme.. Inspiration of the project is this Zara necklace that I'm pretty sure that you all know it.

Belki siz de bu kolyeyi kendiniz yapmak isteyebilirsiniz diye nelere ihtiyaç duyduğunuzu ve yaparken dikkat etmeniz gereken detayları da sordum. Kendisi süet, deri, mumlu ip, makrome ipi çeşitli ipler almış; sonra bu iplerle bir sıra ince zincir, üç sıra da kalın zinciri sağından solundan geçirerek bağlamış. İşin püf noktası kolyeyi boynunuzun kavisine oturtabilmek için zincirleri birbirine bağlarken arada bir sıra atlayıp üst kısımları sıkı, alt kısımları daha gevşek bırakmakmış. Mavi boncuklar birkaç kat dikiş ipiyle zincirlere bağlanmış, altın boncuklarda hobi marketlerde satılan takı çivileriyle yine alt sıraya eklenmiş. Ve kolyeniz hazır!

Shoeshine 60 liraya satılan kolyeyi evde 10 liraya yaptığını söylüyor. Siz de bu kolyeyi sevdiniz değil mi? ;)

I asked her about "how to" part, thinking of you may also want to do such a necklace. First you need different kind of ropes like leather, suede, waxed rope, ropes for macrame; then she tied up one line of thin chain and three lines of bold chain with those ropes. The trick is adjusting the shape of necklace for your neck. You need to tie up upper line tighter and leave the under line looser. Blue beads are attached with sewing thread and gold beads are attached with nails for accessory (can be found at hobby markets). And it's ready!

Shoeshine adds that it cost only 1/6 of the sale price of that Zara necklace. You loved this project, didn't you? ;)
