Deadly Flood Expected in 14 Nigerian States.
According to a report from the Federal Ministry of Environment in Nigeria, a killer rainfall which will cause major flooding has been
predicted between August 12 and the 19th of August 2012 in 14 Nigerian states.
Among the states with the most records of floods in the country, below are a list of the states most likey to be affected.
Oyo state- {Eruwa and most parts of Ibadan}
Plateau & Adamawa state - {Demsa,Nunman,Mayo,Belwaand Jimeta}
Gombe state- {Nafada}
Kebbi state- {Birnin kebbi, Gwandu, Jega, Bunza, Bugado and Anka}
Yobe state- {Potiskum, Dapchi and Gashua}
Taraba state- {Lau, Bali, Ibi, Wukari and Mutum Biyu}
Zamfara state- {Kaura, Maru, Gusau and Namoda}
Other states include,
Kano state
Bauchi state
Katsina state
